Shiba Inu’s lead dev Shytoshi Kusuma mocked MyDoge founder in a post on X today over Web3 gaming developments and endorsed Shibarium’s Shiba Eternity.
Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has recently taken to X, taking a dig at the ‘MyDoge’ Dogecoin wallet founder, Jordan Jefferson. Notably, the lead developer mocked an upcoming game on the Dogecoin network, as revealed by Jordan on X. Simultaneously, Kusama drew attention to the SHIB ecosystem game, Shiba Eternity.
Shytoshi Kusuma “Laughs” on Upcoming Doge Game
In a riveting turn of events, Jordan initially posted on X as of August 9, stating, “Gaming on Dogecoin is coming.” In his post, the wallet developer shared a small GIF of what looks to be a scene of the upcoming game.
However, Shiba Inu’s lead developer slammed the post, by adding “Laughs in Shiba Eternity.” This statement, in the wake of recent developments surrounding the Shibarium game, has gained significant traction.
The Shiba Eternity Web3 game, although not yet available on Shibarium, recently revealed a welcome package for its P2E version. The game’s migration from a Web2 to a Web3 ecosystem is expected to happen soon.
On the other hand, Dogecoin, a prominent SHIB rival, has already ignited substantial buzz with its upcoming gaming platform revelation. The dog-themed meme coins rivalry further intensifies with their plans to venture into the P2E sector.
Binance Sparks Speculation With Shiba Inu Dog Post
Meanwhile, the world’s lead crypto exchange, Binance, recently took to X, posting a pic of the Shiba Inu dog breed. The post by the crypto exchange added, “Guardian of the crypto universe.”
Intriguingly, SHIB KNIGHT, a prominent member of the meme token’s community, further spotlighted the post, garnering attention toward the SHIB community. Conversely, speculations of the post hinting towards other coins, such as Neiro and Dogecoin, also prevailed in the market.
Also, SHIB price traded at $0.0000141 at press time, up 0.04% over the past day. DOGE price traded at $0.1042, down 0.74% in the past 24 hours.
Intriguingly, SHIB’s marketing lead Lucie sparked further discussions across the broader crypto market, stating, “In last 12 months, SHIB outperformed ETH in terms of performance,” in a post on X. SHIB’s yearly gains as of press time totalled 44.10%, whereas ETH’s yearly gains totalled 42%.
